Join DiVino for a night of Italian microbrewery tastings and pizza pairings from Sottocasa Harlem.
Birra Follina was founded in 2012, but their roots in winemaking, and especially secondary bottle fermentation extend for a half a century.
Located in the province of Treviso (Veneto) in an area once known as Sanavalle, the “healthy valley,” for its riverside position, and the pure, life-giving waters of the Follina River which are key to their beer production.
Inspired by Belgian beer production but undeniably Italian, we’ll be tasting and pairing three Follina beers:
Follinetta – A Belgian, Saison style classic blonde ale, light summery and approachable with fruity notes
Sanavalle – Belgian Ale style with a pleasant bitter finish to balance the rich malted barley
Giana – Tripel style double malt made from a blend of grains with a sweeter, spicier quality
Cost per person for tasting, instruction and a selection of food pairings: $35
